Where: Tegenungan Waterfall, Bali
When: October 2019
We took a trip to Tegenungan Waterfall which is just 15 minutes from our house near Ubud. We’d been warned that it gets busy later and we prefer it to be quiet and cooler so as usual headed there early morning. It was easy to park (paid parking right outside the entrance but very cheap) and the entrance fee was also reasonable at 20k IDR (around £1) per person.
Quite a few steep steps down to it but that’s to be expected, but plenty of places to stop to take photo’s on the route down that isn’t actually that far anyway. The waterfall itself is pretty impressive even though it had been very dry for months before we visited. The only slightly annoying thing was that to get to the top of the waterfall at the opposite side of the valley, there’s an additional entrance charge so we didn’t bother.
Definitely a nice place to visit and really worth it if you’re staying in or around Ubud.
